What is Faith in God? As I start this New Year 2023, I have been reflecting the past year “2022” that I have experienced.  There were a lot of sorrow, loss, pain, joy, excitement, new friendships and the most important was personal growth!  I have had to fully “LET GO and LET GOD” more then ever before.  Last year was my big “60th” birthday a landmark in which my beautiful ‘stepdaughter’ (from previous marriage that I call her my “chosen daughter”) planned a great venture on a Dinner Cruise the including guests were; my niece, nephew-in-law, a wonderful friend of hers, her mom and her mom’s friend.  It was an amazing night even though I wore very tight shoes that I barely could stand on but still that did not ruin my night.  It was perfect with a beautiful sky including the Full Moon before Spring Equinox with the sky a little cloudy that caused a beautiful haze on the view of the full moon.  Before my birthday I lost (passed) my 71/2 year old male cat name...

               When there is a crisis going on in the world, we look around to figure out what is going on.  Who can we put the blame on so we can build up our hatred and disapproval.   The real answers lie within all of us and ALL  of us are to blame.  We feed others with our negative thoughts and words.  There is the pointing of the fingers but no one points at themselves, just complaining about what the standards of protection are, the inconvenience brings, how we feel trapped, etc., but some have not tried to see how to contribute to find a solution.  It's amazing the ones that cry and complain the most are the one's that seem to be more of the problem then the solution.  There is a continuous hatred among all of us (myself included) for none are excluded, (there are very few humbled souls but unfortunately they are the minority) not even those that consider themselves the victims.   Even in th...

As I look into the deep blue of this stone with it's golden specs and white swirls, the depth of the ocean comes to mind.  The mysteries the sea holds and treasures of the past we all seek to find.  Buried beneath are stories that may help us further understand our present time.  The Lapis Luzuli is a stone that brings the past to light for better understanding of our present path that has been chosen from our higher self.  With the golden specs helping us find the treasures to our true calling and one's divine purpose. When we get abused in our life for some of us, we are grateful that we don't become like our abusers and be abusive to others.  So from my experience I thought I overcame that situation and was proud that I did not become like my abuser.  The one person I forgot about was myself and in turn became a different type of abuser.  Reviewing other articles and listening to stories on television there is a cycle that occurs and even though what was being shown was a more aggressive type of abuse or how we continue to be victims there is another type that I became aware of which hides in so many different ways that it is misdiagnosed.  The ones I became aware of which some people will show all signs some will show a few or the opposite are; not disciplined, under achiever, disorganized, not motivated, procrastinator, follower, controlling, weight issues, money issues just to name a  few.  One may feel that they have a handle on the past abuse because of the aware...

Time travel has always fascinated me, I have watched a lot of movies on this subject especially the ones going back in time.  The wonders of seeing how things were back years ago and how people lived.  How the world was viewed back then, how people co-existed with each other, how they communicated, how was their empathy with one another, etc....  Was it really a simpler time or do we fantasize more of how things were back then.  You might of heard stories from one's elders how people and their behaviors have changed, but I wonder how they really were when they were our age back then.  In another point of view, if we have a time machine, would we tell our younger self to avoid certain situations and to invest their time in other areas in their life, wondering if our younger self would actually listen.  Could our past be just destiny and if we change the course of time what else would change?  Who may we lose in the process?
