Stress best ways to "Relax at Home"
Having problem sleeping, is your time just slipping by, do you feel like the world is just caving in, these are situations that can be present when there is stress. Life situations bring on stress and unless we live on a Enchanted Island this is part of life. How we handle it will be completely up to oneself. Stress is conncected to the majority of "Life Threating Diseases" and your body will give you singles that you will need to work this out and learn to relax for it will start shutting down.....faster and faster everyday! If you want to be able to give the best of "you" to your family and job then remember that you have to give "you" the time to recharge. Batteries have a limit of energy then it needs to be recharged, the same applies to human beings, this doesnt only mean with food, it means with exercise, meditation and enjoying life with all our senses.
Here are some tips that will only take 20 minutes to help you relax and be able to recharge your body, mind and spirit. This is best to do in the evening if possible if not do early in the morning before "sunset".
Start the relaxation in the shower selecting a fragrance of shower gel that makes your mind just feel like it is in a different world. Now let yourself be under the water as though you were under a "Waterfall" in a private Tropical Island feeling the droplets just sooth and wash your tension away. Pour in amount of your selected fragrant shower gel on your washing medium (cloth, loofah etc.) and inhale the fragrance feeling it through your entire body. Focus on the feeling of how the lather and fragrance is touching your skin.
Next step brew a nice cup of herbal tea that is designed to help soothe the body. Linden teas is great for the nervous system, chomomile is great for the stomach and their are many more that you can find at a Health Food Store or major super markets. Step the tea bag for 3-5 minutes and if possible sit outside and enjoy the evening and just listen to the sounds of nature, look up at the sky and notice the clouds, stars, moon and just take in nice deep slow breaths. Inhale the fragrance of the tea and let it scent just release the tension in your mind. Imagine you are in this field of beautiful flowers just surround you and they are releasing their scents just for you.
Note: If hot tea is not for you then use an Infused Water drink that does have a soothing scent to it this would work in the same way just sip slowly and enjoy the taste of each sip regonizing each flavor.
This will only take aproximately 20 minutes of your day, and it already is something that you would normally do just take the time to be in the moment instead of thinking of 100 things you need to do today, guess what those things will still be there tomorrow, but how about you, will you have all your senses! What really matters to you in your life take a moment and think about it cause everything can change in a split second. I know people who had a terrible cold that ended up them loosing their sense of smell. Did they even remember what the last scent was they smelled? How about you will you remember your last scent that you smelled if in a few hours you may loose yours forever?!
If you are not important enough for yourself then stop thinking you will be to someone else!
As they say "If you dont love yourself then how can you expect others to love you and you to love others".
